2024 Secondary Discussion Group – Term 3 huitopa

Thanks to those who could make it to the huitopa yesterday, and we hope the info below is helpful for those who couldn’t make it.

Outcomes from our discussion group today (see graphic below)

1. We discussed highlights from our mahi in breakout rooms. Some of these recorded on blue stickies.
2. We discussed successes and enablers of Envirogroups in breakout rooms with a few notes being recorded post discussion in orange.
3. As a whole room we discussed any transition practices for active enviro group members from primary/ intermediate to Secondary and imagined some ‘what ifs’ that could be tried. They are recorded in pink.
4. Next time …. A focus on leadership camps/workshops. I will be sending out some homework for you as there is a lot recorded already from the Waikato team and we will ask you to come with questions for them, and also for each region to share what they have tried and are following up etc. It would be good to hear about the REAL programme in Tāmaki – Ross ….?  NOTE: This session will happen at the national Energiser hui in October kanohi ki te kanohi
